The owner of Furniture Palace actually has a completely different background. After having worked for 4,5 years as an auditor at a big 4 audit firm, and 7 years as financial manager at one of the biggest wholesalers on the island he decided to open his own store with the name of Porchsale Palace.
Porchsale Palace
On October 18, 2006 Porchsale Palace was opened after months of preparations in the building of Moreno Agencies at Habaai. After 1 year Porchsale Palace moved to their own building in Santa Maria.
Porchsale Palace initially focused on selling second hand furniture and home decor. During this time a lot of experience was gained. Because there was still room for growth, during 2009 it was decided that next to second hand furniture Porchsale Palace would start selling new furniture too. This kept getting better and better, because now our clients could come to us for beautiful new furniture at prices not much higher than the prices for the second hand furniture.
By the end of 2009, after 3 years of selling second hand furniture, it was decided to exclusively sell new furniture and home decor. Because of this in 2010 the name was changed to ……….
